By using a holistic health model created solely for The Wellness Center, we work with each individual to build a personal and comprehensive wellness treatment plan combining the best of both conventional medicine and evidence-based complementary and alternative therapies.


This includes services ranging from nutrition guidance, movement therapy, breathing and mindfulness exercises, osteopathic manipulation medicine, acupuncture, bodywork and natural aesthetics to ultimately assist each client to embrace their place of greater wholeness, presence and well being. 

Dr. Jane Bradlaw, D.O., is an osteopathic physician by training, and lives by the philosophy of treating each of her clients as an integrative whole, mind-body-spirit. She graduated medical school from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency program in Emergency Medicine at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Bradlaw is board certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona.  She has practiced osteopathic manipulative therapy and cranial osteopathy for over 15 years and is a member of The American Osteopathic Association, The American College of Emergency Medicine, and The Cranial Academy.  Dr. Bradlaw has also studied Eastern philosophy, martial arts, mind-body medicine, and meditation practices for over 20 years.  


Dr. Bradlaw intended to bring a more holistic health model to Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland since 1998, when she first began studying complementary medicine.  She recognized the great disconnect and dysfunction in the system of conventional healthcare during medical school, residency and in her personal medical practice, which motivated her to create a new medical practice philosophy.  After encountering countless patients and families searching for different solutions, The Valparaiso Wellness Center was created.

Pamela K. Sills, LMT worked in the western medical field as an operating room surgical technician for over 15 years, and then went on to serve as a labor and delivery doula. After attending Lewis School of massage and the Chicago School of Thai massage, Pamela began working as a massage therapist in 2000 and later ran her own holistic health center for over 10 years. Pamela brings her warm personality and extensive skill set to The Wellness Center, where she offers clinical therapeutic massage, neuromuscular therapies, gentle myofacial release, Thai massage, craniosacral therapy, Reiki, pre and post natal massage, infant massage, and sports and rehabilitative massage.

Alia Hawkins, CYT is a trained classical ballet dancer with over 30 years experience. She has professional training with the Kirov Academy (Washington, D.C.), Joffrey Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem (NewYork), Cairo Opera Ballet Company (Cairo, Egypt), Ballet L’Opera National de Paris (Paris, France), Bolshoi Ballet, Alvin Alley Dance Company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and the School of American Ballet just to name a few.  She was invited to dance with the American Ballet Theatre in New York, the Joffrey Ballet, and the San Francisco Ballet. Through her dance training, she was introduced to Pilates and yoga. She has actively been practicing Pilates for over 25 years and yoga for 20 years. She is certified in Romana Kryzanowska Pilates Method and is a Balanced Body Pilates Instructor.  She has her R-YFT with Yoga Faith and received her prenatal yoga certification with Global Yoga Center.  She is a member of Dance Educators of America, a group that supports prevention of sports injuries, proper nutrition for dancers, and proper dance training for both teachers and dancers.  She is also the founder of Beachfront Dance School in Miller Beach and a Registered Domestic Mediator for the State of Indiana. 

Katie Hawks, CYT, LMT specializes in chronic stress and pain management, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and other medically related stress conditions.  She is a Wellness Coach and Body Therapist from the Chicago area, providing private and group Therapeutic Yoga Instruction, and individual Reiki and Massage Therapy. Whether you are overwhelmed from the stresses of every day living, are feeling exhausted or in pain, or are experiencing compromised health due to stress and anxiety, she offers natural ways to transform stress and guide clients to improved health and deep relaxation.

Kathryn Hanson has earned Certification from Spring Forest Qigong with Master Chunyi Lin, as a Level 1 & 2 Instructor.  She is a Master Healer Level 1 through Spring Forest Qigong.  Qigong is an integrated form of healing, helping us to heal on all levels – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  Kathryn offers group, private or semi-private Qigong classes for health. She offers individual sessions of Qi~ssage, which is a form of needle-less Acupuncture working with the Chinese Meridian System. 

Stephanie Ford, MSN, CRNA is a board certified registered nurse anesthetist. She graduated from Purdue University with her bachelor of science in nursing.   She spent seven years in critical care nursing.  Later, she continued on to complete her master’s degree and training in anesthesia from Northeastern University and Tuft’s Medical Center in Boston, MA.  Her anesthesia training and experience has provided her with steady hands, a detail oriented work ethic, and a precise understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Her 20+ years of medical expertise and creativity combine to provide a unique passion for natural skincare aesthetics and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.  Her certification through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training in both NYC and Chicago, IL allows Stephanie to specialize in Botox, dermal filler, microneedling, and regenerative medicine using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection. She strives to promote overall wellness by helping others look and feel their best by achieving healthy skin goals.  Her honesty, compassion, confidence, knowledge, and understanding provide a unique and comfortable experience for her clients.  When Stephanie is not working in the operating room or practicing aesthetics, she enjoys spending time with her son, practicing yoga, training for triathlons, traveling, cooking, and gardening.
